We are a Catholic Primary School in Melbourne who have purchased 30 iPads to determine their teaching and learning potential.
All teachers were given an iPad for a term to enable them to become familar and experiment with a variety of apps. The teachers have been asked to use the wiki to share their learning and to build up a bank of resources to enhance their teaching.

The Classroom ideas for learning with the iPad provide an overview of the potential of 1-to-1 learning in the classroom and provides a range of practical learning and teaching ideas to support the introduction of iPads in schools. The booklet gives a summary of the DEECD-selected apps and outlines some ideas of how each app could be used in the classroom. There is a selection of Classroom ideas for you to try tomorrow, each with a learning focus, that provide further ideas for teachers.
